It has come to my attention that blogger is blocked in China.  So, I am testing out posting from my e-mail account instead of going directly to our blog to post.  Thank you for your patience while I figure this out.  Beth

Article 5 is in!

We just received notice that our Article 5 was issued last Thursday, June 17. Now we wait for TA, (travel approval) from the CCAA, (Chinese government). This could happen as early as by the end of this week or up to 3 weeks. Once we get TA we will request our consulate appointment. THEN we will be able to schedule our trip.

Please continue to pray for our time-line and for our sweet baby girl while she waits.

Now Awaiting Article 5

As of May 27 our file was passed to the US Consulate. Now we wait for them to issue Article 5, whatever that is. From there our file goes back to the CCAA, (Chinese gov't), to wait for TA, (travel approval). Third, we go back to the US Consulate to request our consulate appt. THEN, we will build our trip around that appointment. Starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Estimating another 7 weeks to travel.

Still no further updates on how Natalie is doing. Please continue to keep our sweet baby girl in your prayers.
